Crass displays of public merriment

Mi Yodea means 'who knows'?

NOTE- please check out our NEW site at www.miyodeamusic.com for all the current info etc- this page tells a bit about our history in old sound files..... enjoy!

Mi Yodea is-
Ellie Kaplan- Keys, Drums, Percussion, Singing, writing, booking, worrying, kvelling
Sue Kaplan- Dumbek, Percussion, Singing, management
Ann Gross- Djembe, Bougourabou, Percussion, Singing
Phil Isaacson- Digi-Horn, Clarinet, Alto Sax

Tradition with a twist. We play Jewish music from everywhere as well as some originals. We don't know Hava Nagila- maybe some day we'll get to it. But in the meantime we work on Salim Halali, Naftule Brandwein, Israeli music, chassidish music etc. etc. just trying to make some sense of it all. What's next? Who knows?

you can e-mail us at zelwel@hotmail.com for further info.
